Psionica: A tragic character thats too broken to be saved or perhaps realized that being a villain isn't worth it and seeks to atone for her crimes. As far as pre-timeskip Psionica goes theres a good possibility she's more anti-villain than legit villain

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AntiVillain

If one looks at it her whole reason for being is revenge against the MechaKing, an actual villain and some would say a complete monster equal to say Christine Zion. Her actions towards her revenge have led her to making decisions that are so morally questionable that they reach villain territory but as the old saying goes the ends justify the means. She's even one of the few villains in Prime that can actually bother to have a civil conversation with the heroes and is perhaps the only one willing to purpose a truce towards them.

Nemesis: Complete monster or Jerkass Woobie given her backstory. Another thing is that perhaps her complete monster persona is another identity she uses. For instance when she's not being Nemesis you actually see a more human side to her when she's hanging out with Insidious or when she speaks with her son.

Got a few more Smile

Quantum herself
Quantum Flannery
Doctor Insidious

Quantum: A toughie. We know very little about her past and what we've seen of her is pretty much pure evil.
That said, given her meeting with Faith, there are hints of a past there and for all we know they may have been friends once. Just what exactly happened between them that Faith never mentioned it?

Flannery: The FLAN! Cool
Practically the opposite of Quantum, she's a full out hero. Now, we have seen that, when really mad, she can be almost comparable to a force of nature, as the gang that busted up Matthew found out. I guess the only real question I can come up with is....is she doing it just to be a hero or is she trying to follow in mother's footsteps or because of guilt over what happened to her father or some kind of combination?

Insidious: Just why IS she a villain? Is it because she was raised to be one or is she just having fun with it? While she does have a rivalry with Power Woman and a bigger one with Nemesis, she's shown to be pretty civil with the heroes, even coming out of nowhere with a Big Damn Heroes moment against Harbinger. She also slept with Nemesis and they were both pretty happy about it in the morning. We have glimpsed her past and it's been hinted that she's been through some pretty messed up stuff. She also said that she's done some arms dealings with lower level criminals to help them out. Contrast with Nemesis selling weapons to much worse criminals just for profit.

Captain Nemesis: From what we've seen of him he states that he's a villain but yet when you see him arrive at Halworth's it was of no intent in causing trouble. One could just take it as a casual visit. Hell him and Carmilla have even had a nice non-hostile conversation. So the question would be is he really a villain or perhaps maybe a closet hero and just pulling the villain card in a effort to please his mom

Prime Simonides: Is he really a villain? Ok yes he was a crime boss and yes he has a serial killer under his employ but lets look at a few facts. First off Eve is gradually shaping up to be less of a monster than she was before she found Simonides, second when compared to say other villains in Prime, heck other crime bosses to be exact, he's the closest thing to noble. He's one of the few crime bosses thats willing to give up that lifestyle. Granted for selfish reasons but cant fault the guy for wanting to put that life behind him. Or it could be that he's actually one of the few villains thats savvy enough to not commit horrible acts to avoid having the heroes after him

Now a couple of fun ones

she's secretly the biggest threat to existence in the making. She's an infiltrator, slowly learning everything she can from the heroes, before reaching her true goal: Astroman himself

she tells herself she wants to be a hero but that's a lie. We all know what she really wants is power, and she wants that power to be absolute

Suspiria, is she really an otherworldy force looking to conquer another plane of existence, or does she merely want to interact with humanity and understand them?

she may appear malevolentbut waht if her acts of evil are really done to help out humanity in the long run?

Artemis and Suspiria

Suspiria: A complete monster immortal sorceress or a villain with noble demon tendencies? She does have her friendship with Psionica and seems to be helping her to redeem herself, arranged the party in the OVA, has some standards as shown with her comments towards Elizabeth and cares about her underlings.

Artemis: A real hero, she's apparently the most serious out of Team Stronghold as shown when she shakes her head at Stronghold's more comic booky antics. That said, we still don't know much about her or where she gets her arsenal. Makes you wonder.

"Is he really all that human? Sure, he smiles a lot and is always ready to lend a helping hand in the name of justice but think about it. No one man can have all that power and stay completely altruistic. He may be all smiles and kind words on the outside, but considering how long his career has gone, he HAS to be jaded. Seeing these beings, these 'civilized' creatures constantly fighting and degrading each other HAS to wear on him. Yeah, he was raised by good people, but he's also encountered NOT so good people, people who can't be redeemed. What if it's all just an act and he's setting us up for a HUGE fall? I mean honestly, who would stop him in time? I heard once that the worst threat is the one you never see coming, and I think Captain Justice fits that mold"-random internet blog on superpeople

Interesting enough. One can make the same case concerning Union Jack. Think about it.

From what we know of him so far is that he grew up as a member of the Galaxy Knights which one could look at as a space version of LION and he has been sent on earth, no doubt by orders of the Peacekeeping Council but for what purpose? To make sure that the planet is protected or to make sure that the planet isn't a threat to the universe.

Best character ever!!!

Agent Nemo: Pretty mich in the same boat as Song. Seems to be investing alot in Fastlane, especially when it comes to defeating a psychotic speedster like Blur. But is his intentions legit heroic or is there some kind of hidden agenda?

I originally thought this was just for the NuCAU when I made this, so I chose Angel Enigma

God's wrath or a being with an alien concept of morality? When most of the peoplewho've seen this being are unable to speak or not among the living anymore, it makes nailing down this creature's personality very hard. Is this the vengeful wrath of an angry god, or something even more sinister? Whatever it is, we know one thing for certain, that it is an enigma
