Nemo stumbled down the street, looking for his warehouse in Ascension. It took him a while before he could key in on the location, but once he got there, Nemo signaled to the other heroes that they needed to maketheir way to the warehouse.

No one goes solo. Jet, Fastlane, you two patrol the city, while Shining Angel, Shade and Dynagal stay here and guard the base with me. Blur is a sociopath and will not hesitate to take your life or anyone else's. Be on guard at ALL times!" he'd say, sitting himself down and checking his laser

"You heard him guys." Fastlane said. "Shade, stay in shadow form and in Nemo's shadow. If Blur tries to attack him, you're shadows will be able to catch him by surprise. Dynagal, you're up in the air with Shining Angel. Rain lightning down from above. He can't reach you in the air."

"Got it. And you?"

"Me and Jet are going to be out there looking for him."

"Right, be safe out there guys" Shade would say, his powers causing him to blend in with the shadows

Blur breathed in the air as he looked at the city. "I honestly did not think I'd be coming back here so soon. But, I'm going to have to deal with the kid sooner or later. It might as well be now." He smiled and injected himself again. His entire body shaking as his veins became more visible around his body. He grinned and ran into the city.

The mixture of another speedster's blood and various uppers would make Blur feel like he was moving faster and faster with each step, almost burning the air behind him

Eliza hid in her room, closing the doors, curtains and everything else. She'd never seen such...such FEAR on Jay's face. It made sense though, considering how he felt after the first Blur fight. She wished there was someway she could help Jay, anyway

Eliza hid in her room, closing the doors, curtains and everything else. She'd never seen such...such FEAR on Jay's face. It made sense though, considering how he felt after the first Blur fight. She wished there was someway she could help Jay, anyway

Blur raced down the street, shattering windows and tossing cars with his wake from his sheer speed and leaving fire from his feet.

Fastlane and Jet blitzed through the city and eventually came upon the destruction just before something blurred past them and hit both of them, then again, then across the face again before kicking them down. The two speedster's recovered and stood up to face Blur.

"Hello kid. How you been?"

"YOU!" Fastlane blitzed towards him and struck at Blur who grabbed and spun around and threw him several feet away through the air.

"Too slow kid."

Jet caught Fastlane. "You alright?"

"Yeah, I-I think he's faster than last time."

"Look at him."

Fastlane stood up. "What...."

"It's the drugs Adrian gave him. He's taken too many, it's affecting his body."

"Well, that's one way to look at it." Blur blitzed past the two, punching and kicking both of them. Fastlane dived to the side and rolled to his feet. Jet blocked the hits but was struck by some of the hits and fell back. She jumped back to her feet.

Nemo applied the gauze to his wounds and slowly stood up, aiming his gun at the door. He figured Blur was cocky enough that he would try to catch whatever Nemo shot at him, so he wanted to play on that character flaw. He'd cooked up a cure-cocktail to Adrian's drug with the help of Dr. White, but it was only a small batch that provided a temporary cure. If it hit, it would work for at most a minute, but hopefully that'd be all the time they need.

Hope was a thing he held onto dearly as an agent, as it got him through a LOT of close calls

Agent Jet and Fastlane attacked The Blur at super speed, the three zipping around the city causing destruction with just the wake of their speed. Jet closed in and swung at him but Blur dodged, leaped at her and began pummeling Jet with a barrage of punches and kicks aimed at her chest, legs and face. It was like a whirlwind off attacks and Jet had no time to defend herself and was viciously beaten. Fastlane ran on ahead to build up speed. (One more time....I need it....that power....that speed.....one.more...time!) His body accelerated again as Fastlane pushed himself, going faster and faster as he did so as he obtained the same speed as last time. The speed he had used against Adrian. Fastlane circled around and rushed the Blur at Mach 9. The Blur paused his attack on Agent Jet as he saw him coming. Fastlane punched The Blur and he turned to avoid just slightly as Jet started to fall down. Fastlane spinned around and went on the attack and Blur countered, the two speedsters attacking and dodging and punching and kicking and maneuvering around each other for the advantage, both men moving far too fast for anyone to see. The two were creating a tornado just by moving around each other, throwing dozens of punches for every one that the people in the city heard. But for every hit Fastlane landed, The Blur landed ten more on him. A vicious punch across the face, a kick in the leg, a knee to the stomach, punches, kicks, scratch, Fastlane couldn't keep up with it. With another attack, the Blur sent him flying through the air. Jet had recovered however and grabbed his left leg with both of hers and sent him down to the ground. Jet seized her chance and got on top of him and began slamming his head onto the ground viciously.
Fastlane landed on a car and spit out blood. His costume had bloody cuts and tears on it and he had landed hard. After a few moments he rolled off of the car and fell to the ground. "Nnngghh...ugghhh...cough! Hack!" He spit out blood and wiped his mouth and reached up to the car to stead himself. Fastlane turned to see Jet get thrown off of him. Kneeling down into a runner's stance, he watched Blur and Jet fight it out at incredible speeds, moving so fast that everything else around them was frozen from their perspective. Fastlane raced forward as Jet and The Blur were spinning around and Jet was knocked away. Fastlane leaped up into the air and attacked with the Mach Punch. There was an enormous booming sound all around them as Fastlane landed down on the ground....and was grabbed from behind and turned around and punched hard in the face by Blur. "Nice trick, but too slow."

The two speedster heroes recovered. "You okay?"
"...Been better." Fastlane nodded. "Open to suggestions..."
"Hit him together." The two nodded and rushed him.

"Slowpokes." Blur smiled.


Up in the sky.....

"There! I've found them!" Shining Angel radioed to Nemo. Dynagal was riding on Shining Angel's back and Shade was in his shadow. "But....damn...they're....they're too fast! I can't..."

"Leave that to me." Dynagal said. "I'll bring down the thunder. When I do, hit the lights and Shade will grab him. That should free the two of them up to beat the hell out of that psycho."

"That's the plan Dynagal, now Shining Angel, LIGHT IT UP!" Nemo says over the com, balling his right hand into a fist

While they were coming down, Fastlane and Agent Jet attacked the Blur at the same. Fastlane jumped into the air at him and kicked at the villain but The Blur dodged and had enough time to punch him several times before turning to grab Agent Jet's arm and headbutt her followed by a knee in the stomach and elbowing her head. His veins pulsed with the power of the Turbo Drug pumping through him. "Don't you idiot's GET IT? THAT IDIOT GAVE ME ALL I NEED! I'M TOO FAST NOW! I CAN'T LOSE!" He laughed insanely. "YOU TWO....YOU TWO ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN FIGHT BACK...." He laughed some more. "AND AFTER I'M DONE HERE, I'MMA SLAUGHTER EVERYONE IN THIS ENTIRE CITY!"
"No....no...never....never...again...." Fastlane pushed himself up. ''YOU HEAR ME BLUR? NEVER AGAIN! YOU DIE HERE!" Fastlane blitzed towards him again and threw hundreds of super speed punches that looked like thousands. The Blur casually dodged each punch and then grabbed him by the throat. "Oh give me a break hero." Blur punched him hard like a jackhammer. "I'm fast. Faster than you. Faster than the whore over there. No one can stop me!"
So busy was he in pummeling Fastlane though that he never saw the ones coming in from behind. Blur yelled in agony as Dynagal's electric blast hit him and Fastlane fell backwards. He stared up at him and smiled. Blur fell down to one knee but quicly healed. "Okay....who the f-k was tha-" Blur started to turn around but was blinded by Shining Angel's lights as the flying hero slammed into him like a human torpedo. "This for our parents YOU BASTARD!" Shining Angel yelled as he stopped, leaving Blur to fly through the air and hit a tree. "NOW SHADE!"

Jet stood up and smiled despite her injuries. "That....would.....would be...the cavalry."
"You didn't really think we came here without a plan did you?" Fastlane asked.

Blur would feel his movements restricted as Shade took control of his shadow, pulling him down to one knee again. "I've got a hold of him guys, he's not going anywhere!" Shade would tell the others, standing in Blur's shadow

"check, check, can you all hear me? I'm transporting Blur to The Pin, report back to base ASAP" He'd tell them, sitting Blur in his chair. "You thought the HOSPITAl was bad? You haven't seen anything yet" ..

Fastlane fished out his cell, which had somehow remained unharmed through the whole fight, and texted Eliza.
We Won. Blur's gone for good. Fastlane FTW.

Eliza let out a small squeal as she got the text, jumping up and down


"I am so glad, so glad to know you're safe too" she replied.

Nemo would drop Blur off into The Pin, and had two guards strap him in to a full body cast with a Tunium casing (kinetic energy absorption metal) and a detainment collar around his neck before throwing him into a cell on level 4

After that, Nemo returned and smiled at the group. "Well, first thing I'd like to say is congratulations. You all worked together as a team and have come quite far. Even with the different backgrounds you all have, you've united under the cause of justice, and LION smiles upon that. Blur will be put away for a long time in a cell specifically designed to counter his abilities, and be under heavy surveillance. I'm proud of you all andt this progression makesmehappy for the future of LION. You are dismissed" Nemo tells them

Jay and Jet limped into the healing tanks and pulled down the oxygen masks and put them on and closed their eyes as the machine went to work.

Nemo smiled at Dynagal, nodding in response to her statement on what powers she has

"oh I'm definitely aware of your powers young lady, but I'm also aware of how your psyche review showed you're not exactly one to try and question those who have the ILLUSION of power over you. As messed up as it may seem, it was my best tactic to use with you and it worked. Besides you're like what, seventeen and all you did was steal things and use your abilities irresponsibly? I couldn't treat you like a hardened terrorist or super-criminal, not that kind of person." He'd tell her, sheathing his pistol before giving her a thumbs up. "Besides, I figured putting you around some positive influences might help you out"


"So the same is true for me sir?" Shade would ask as well

"Yes, same is true for you. I've done some shady stuff in my time but I'd never do anything to some kids" Nemo would reply, sitting down in his Blur-free chair
