Admin wrote:I had an idea for some power upgrades for some of the teen heroes once the whole Dracula fiasco is over with.
While the heroes are resting up, they come to the decision that they'll need to be stronger for the coming threats. Especially with Quantum still out there.
Flannery talks to Song about it and he makes some calls and a meeting is arranged at the warehouse district. Her new teacher shows up right on time: Omega himself, the psychic of the Global Alliance of Superheroes. He gives Ultra Girl some incredible psychic training. It's not easy at all, her first day of training with him consists of meditating for 25 hours straight without moving for instance, but the training pays off.

At the end, he gives her some directions to find one more teacher, someone who is very much the opposite of Quantum.

Meeting someone like Dyna is pretty good for her compared to Flannery's experiences with Quantum and they do a bit of training together, during which Flannery learns a very special maneuver, one that could provide serious aid in a fight against Quantum.

This is due to the fact that Electrokinesis is still a -kinesis and thus a psychic power and a psychic of Flannery's caliber has the potential to branch out and master other forms of it.
In short, she gets quite a bit more powerful and skilled and starts taking steps to realizing her true power: Psychokinesis. As Omega tells her: Anything the mind can control, you can control.

Stronghold
Not to be outdone, he goes to LION for training to increase his strength and overall stats due to his loss to NY and the harsh battles against the vampires. He swears to endure whatever they can throw at him, no matter what it is. To the point where he purposefully wears a restraint collar the entire time. They throw him to General McGovern and Sophia.
You already know where this is going.

Still, like Flannery, Matthew gets a lot out of it and not only does he become quite a bit stronger, but also crazy fast, right about ringer level, agile and a very skilled fighter and when he finally is allowed to take the restraint collar off, he finds his powers have been upgraded as well due to his body being stronger now.

^post training.
Artemis
After recovering from her wounds and helping to deal with the vampires, she does heavy duty training of her own. Not just with Agent Song, but with his friends from Maximum Order, including 'Swordsmanship with Patriot' 'Drusilla's Bullet Dodging Happy Happy Fun Class' 'Stealth Training with Ghost' and 'Leia and Sam Singer's Super Soldier Training' all while working on upgrading her gear and armors. The result? An even more badass Artemis with upgraded gear and weapons.

Summer
Not wanting her friends to have to fight alone anymore, Summer convinces her parents to allow her to become a hero and hires the very best teachers money can buy to give her the training she needs. She even invites Hank to train with her!

The Dude
DUUUUUUDE! With the whole vampire disaster over with, he goes to find Fastlane and Agent jet and trains alongside them. Granted it's more reasonable training than some of the above guys, but Jet can still get pretty crazy at times. As a result of the training though he becomes faster and learns some new tricks, though not as crazy fast as Jay.

Carmella
Learns powerful magic from Archmage and comes back as a combat monster with a few improved fighting techniques, including combat magic and some of her own dark magic spells.

Helena
Given the incident with Dracula it inspired her to want to protect Exodus, although in a more morally questionable way. She seeks to form a partnership with Ultra Girl in efforts to make it happen. She lost a few employees who gave their lives valiantly in the battle with Dracula but gains some new ones. Thanks to her parents connections with "powerful people" she recruits magical and some supernatural beings. In a way she gradually grows into becoming Quantum's version of Smallville's Lex Luthor. Not villain but more on the morally gray side.
This revelation occurred when she and Hank have their own personal experience with the supernatural.
Hank
The Dracula incident, plus him and Helena's run in with The Rake evolved him into a sane version of Ash from the Evil Dead films. His training that he had with Artemis paid off.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TookALevelInBadass
Also not wanting to see Flannery suffer anymore than she should he decides to train with Summer. He meets up with Helena's parents who thanked Hank in helping their daughter and decided to have a chat with him concerning his future.

Quantum
She barely escapes Agent Song, would have been caught had it not been for the Dracula Crisis. After the whole ordeal she manages to keep herself off the grid for awhile. By off the grid she even manages to not kill anyone for awhile and even hold down a steady job. So she has a brief period of normalcy. Least till something came along down the road that triggers her urges. She was stopped from killing another innocent by Ace. He had tracked her down and had kept an eye on her during her period of "retirement". He commended her for keeping herself off the grid for as long as she has. He introduced her to the new Director of Labyrinth who offered her a position within the organization.
What happened to the old Director? That answer shall be revealed within story

Of the characters you do have I like that The Statesmen arc is finally moving, where we get to see the connections these characters have to Artemis and how that effects future stories
Carmilla has opened up a bit more too, which is cool
where's Fenir been though? what did Rachelle do with him
Legato wrote:Just remembered. Since Lightspeed, now Godspeed, has broken the speed barrier, it would be cool if Dude met up with Godspeed down the road.

They're currently chilling the Halworth thread and watching American Dad.

I do have a few minor ideas for villains, probably not that great, but I have a few ideas.
Also, please do not say that I am not putting forth effort or that I don't care. We have had fun for a long time together and come up with great ideas for the arc. I want us to continue to have fun, so please let's both calm down and help me out on this.

Daywalk: A popular book series among the pre-teen to teenage demographic. Think of it as Quantum's version of Twilight. But slightly better.

Neat.
Maybe like a fusion of Twilight and Warm Bodies.
I could see Archmage being a fan.

Hence the better part Unlike Twilight, Daywalk is an intentional affectionate parody of not just the vampire genre but vampire romances also. Think of Shaun of The Dead's humor.
Speaking of Archmage
Black Knight(While catching him reading Daywalk: Dancing With Devils): You are aware that vampires are not like that?
