"Mystical huh? Alright, Conner, keep civilians clear. You should be more than fast enough. Zatanna, John, try and figure out where these things are coming from. I'll take care of this and give you guys some breathing room." Superman said and zipped off to deal with the big snake.
"Sounds like a pretty simple plan" John said to the others
"How are we going to find him" Connor asked then John pulled out a Talisman he had kept from underneath his shirt" Got it from Papa Midnight who owed me one awhile back. This will help find the magi we are searching for"
Connor sees a crowd being chased by what looked to be a giant spider" Ok once I've saved the civilians I'll join up with you guys"
"Don't get yourself killed" John said as the two sees Connor off then passes the sword to Zatanna" Don't you need this?"
"You know Zatanna, I've gotten a lot of use out of Swords over the years. Killed a lot a monsters, saved a lot of lives, but at the end of the day when push comes to shove... they're just too f***ing heavy" John Constantine said then pulled out a gun from his coat pocked" Magic Gun's usually the key. Got it after beating The Devil in a poker game"
Zatanna quirked an eyebrow in intrigue" That story you got to tell me once this is over"
Constantine was not kidding when he said it was a giant snake. This was definitely a job for Superman. http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/017/d/7/giant_snake_by_ironmaster99-d37ehdi.jpg He flew in front of it to get the snake's attention and whistled. The colossal reptile rose up and looked at the tiny thing in front of it's face. "I don't suppose you speak English and want to talk this out." The snake responded by roaring and clamping it's jaws shut on him. There was a moment's pause and then the snake's mouth was back up. Superman stood strong, forcing it's mouth back open with both hands. "Yeah, that's what I thought." Superman sighed and flew out of it's mouth and then punched the snake, rocking the creature and sending it's head crashing to the ground below. The snake got back up and rose up to it's full height. It was utterly enormous, certainly one of the larger creatures Superman hand tangled with. However, it's size was also a disadvantage. It was a massive target. Superman zipped forward and gave several hard punches to it's neck. The snake roared in pain and tried to move out of the way and wrap around him. Superman waited until it almost had him before zipping away and giving it several more hard punches. Rearing back, the snake lunged at him. Superman grabbed the snake and was smashed into the ground and pushed deep underground. After a few moments though there came a rumbling and the snake was punched so hard it flew up out of the ground. Superman quickly flew up out of the hole and used his super speed to prevent any rubble from hitting civilians. Behind him, the snake rose up, reared back, opened it's mouth and blew out a stream of fire at him. Superman turned around, crossed his arms, took a deep breath and then blew out his Super Breath, canceling out the snake creature's fire breath. He kept it up until the snake stopped belching fire. He floated through the smoked and motioned for the creature to attack him. It lunged forward and Superman dodged to the side and punched it down and then super speeded down underneath it and caught the snake and gave it a super punch that lifted the snake up into the sky. He punched it down to the streets one last time, KOing the snake and zipped underneath it, catching it and setting it down. "I think that went well. Is everybody okay?"

IC: As the battle waged on, one of the giant spiders rushed Zatanna. She readied her magic but the spider suddenly stopped cold and suddenly levitated into the air, it's legs spread out and it started shaking and then was ripped apart telekinetically.
