Summary: How the fight with Doomsday went in Smallville.
Here we go.
Clark took a moment to listen. He could hear it, hear the beast attacking Metropolis. He remembered his previous fight it at the wedding. The monster had stopped his best punch cold and punched him through the air like he was a ragdoll. Clark couldn't remember ever being hit that hard since his fight with Wes Keenan. He wasn't sure he could defeat it by himself. Wait, perhaps he did not have to. He looked up and turned to the battered Justice League. "I can get him back here." He assured them. "But I'm still going to need you guys to detonate the explosives."
Black Canary nodded.
"Clark." Oliver spoke up. "You get him down into the tunnel. We'll take care of the rest."
Clark nodded. "I trust you."
He turned to leave but Bart grabbed his shoulder. "Clark."
"Yeah?"
"Come back alive man."
Clark smiled. "I will. I have to go."
He sped off, reaching the heart of Metropolis in seconds. He spotted a ringing phone. "Lois..." He had promised to call her after all. Well, that would have to wait. One thing at a time. A car soared through the air. Clark caught it and set it aside and then saw it. The Doomsday Monster was rampaging. It grabbed a little girl, an innocent child, and held her up by her throat. The girl's mother beat on the monster's back in vain. The monster responded by dismissively backhanding her across the street and through the window of a clothing store. Clark gritted his teeth and raced forward, sucker punching the monster the moment he reached it. KAPOW! Doomsday dropped the girl and was sent flying down the street for several blocks before coming to a stop and tearing up the street on impact.
"Hey, hey...it's okay. It's okay." He assured the crying child. He heard moaning. The woman was hurt bad but she was still alive. "Go to your mother." He said. The girl nodded and ran to the store. Clark heard a noise from the side. He turned just in time to see the beast had already come back for more. Such speed! It swung it's left arm at Clark who jumped backwards to avoid the punch. Not fast enough. The monster caught him and Clark was launched like a rag doll.
He flipped in the air and skidded across the ground, digging his hands into it to catch himself. He still kept going for about 5 feet before he stopped. He spit on the ground and faced Doomsday. At the very least, he had it's attention now. "Alright big guy. Come on."
The monster roared at him, rage and bloodlust driving it's actions. The monster ran towards him at super speed and Clark did the same.
The monster punched at him and he ducked and weaved under the punches and struck the monster's chest with a one-two punch, the thunderous blows echoing through the city and people ran for cover. The monster responded by slamming it's fists down ontop of Clark. He yelled out in pain and hit the ground. Doomsday bellowed and tried to stomp on him but Clark rolled to the side and jumped to his feet. He tried to dodge another swipe from the monster but was caught on the side of the face by it's knuckle spikes, cutting his left cheek. Clark spun with it and faced it again. He punched at the monster and it responded by catching his fist just like last time. So it wasn't a fluke. It was really that strong after all. The monster swung it's other arm at Clark he attempted to grab it's wrist but was shocked by it's strength, he strained and was barely able to stop it. The two grappled and struggled against each other until Clark used his heat vision, blasting it's head.
The monster roared and stepped back. Clark got some distance and then fired the heat vision at it full bore. Just as, if not more, intense then when he had vaporized that flood after he and Bizarro-Clark broke the dam. The monster bellowed in pain and rage as Clark blasted at it. The monster took a step forward. Then another, forcing itself forward, fighting the heat. Clark gritted his teeth and put out more power. Doomsday dug in it's feet and stepped forward, using one arm to ward off the heat vision and continued on. The heat was hurting it more then anything else it had been hit with before but it reached Clark and grabbed his head with it's right hand. There was a flash of red and an explosion. Clark was then punched clear across the street all the way into a building. He smashed through it's wall and hit the floor, rolling to a stop. He screamed in pain and grabbed his eyes. His heat vision had backfired on him. He was blind for the moment. Managing to get to his feet, he stumbled around and into a fountain. Feeling the cool water, he began splashing it onto his face and rubbing his eyes. He could not face this monster blind. He would be torn apart. He could hear it, it was close and getting closer. Clark dashed to the side, his vision slowly clearing. He could at least see a blur now. He felt around. A door. He pushed it open and crouched down. The monster broke into the building. Clark kept quiet, trying to recover for the moment. A few moments of silence and then a hand burst through the wall and grabbed his foot and swung him out of the room, through the wall and out of the building and crashing into another one. He was just getting to his feet when it slammed onto him, smashing Clark down into the basement of the building. Clark was punched across the basement and through a wall and into an underground tunnel.
Clark spit blood out of his mouth. He blinked. His vision was already coming back. The monster charged him head on and Clark jumped over it, kicking it in the back of the head and using it's own motion against it. The monster was launched down the tunnel. He landed on the ground and then raced after the beast again. He got a running start and then leaped at it with both fists extended outward in front of him, colliding with the monster and sending it through the air in front of him. He landed ontop of it and creating a several feet long and deep trench with both of their bodies. Getting up, he began rapidly punching it at super speed.

The monster responded to this barrage by flailing it's arms, making contact it smacked him through the tunnel wall and into an underground subway. Clark stumbled out of the new hole and faced the monster. A train came up on them and the monster turned to attack it, distracted by it's lights and sounds. Clark shook off the last attack and ran at the monster from behind, grabbing it away from the train and began smashing it's head against a wall.
Doomsday turned and grabbed Clark's head and began pushing him against the train as it went by. Sparks flying off of it. Clark kicked the monster backwards away from him and went after it again.
Up on the surface, the ground shook and cracked like a major earthquake was going on. People screamed and ran for cover.
Sounds of thunder.
Doomsday was punched up through the ground and into a large building. Clark followed after it at super speed, reaching it with a super jump.
Doomsday recovered and attacked him but Clark grabbed and swung it and tossed it away. He leaped down after the monster and began punching it. The monster stood up and swung at Clark, he dodged but it then attacked once more, catching Clark and launching him up several miles into the air to crash onto the ground, making a large crater on impact.
Clark picked himself up. His vision was blurring again. He shook it off and tried to face the monster, leaping forward and punching it with a right and left cross, hitting it with everything he had, not letting up, not daring to let up. Again and again and again and again. Doomsday stopped him and smacked him onto the ground and then hefted him up. With Clark in it's grasp, Doomsday punched his body, hard. And again. And again. And again. Clark vomited blood from his mouth, the blood shooting out of him. Doomsday slammed him onto the ground, grabbed him up by his hair and then smacked him across the face at super speed.
Clark was launched down the street and into one building, straight through it and into another. Sparks flew as the everything came down around Clark.
A few moments passed and Clark picked himself up out of the rubble and fell to his knees. His face was cut and bleeding and he had been thrashed by Doomsday. It took a couple moments just so the breathing wouldn't hurt. He looked up. Doomsday leaped over to him and landed in front of him, roaring in triumph. It lifted it's arms up. Clark saw his opening. He couldn't kill it but he could bury it. Clark gathered all of the strength left in his body and super-tackeled Doomsday into the air and jumped across Metropolis and into the geothermal facility.
"IT'S HIM!" Bart yelled at them, seeing the two slam into it with his super reflexes.
Oliver and Black Canary set off the charges, blowing it up. The explosion was incredible and the entire facility was demolished.
Silence. They waited and waited. "Do...do you think he's?" Canary asked.
"No." Bart said firmly. "He's alive. I know it." He raced towards the ruins of the facility and the others followed.
"CLARK!" Bart yelled out.
A figure. They could see someone coming out of the smoke. Green Arrow readied his bow just in case.
"Wait! It's him!"
Clark limped out of the ruins of the facility, covered in blood and wounds, his shirt and jacket burned off and part of one pant leg. He was a complete and bloody mess. Still, Clark managed to lift one arm and gave them a thumb's up before collapsing.
Bart raced over and caught him. "Clark! Clark! Speak to me man. Come on.."
Then, someone grabbed Clark from him.
"Who?"
"No time to explain." Kara said and flew off into space with Clark's body.
"Who was that?" Bart asked as he watched her fly off.
"Supergirl." Green Arrow said.
Kara and Clark exited Earth's atmosphere in seconds and zipped across the solar system.
(Come on Clark. I am not letting you die on me.) Closer and closer to their destination. They reached it soon. Earth's Yellow Sun, the source of a Kryptonian's power. The Martian Manhunter had done this once before to save his life and it had healed Clark countless times. Looking down, she smiled and saw that it had once again done the trick as Clark began to wake up, his wounds healed up, his breathing steadied. His eyes snapped open. "Kara?"
"Yeah."
"Did I?"
"Yeah. He's gone and buried. You did it again Clark."
"Good." Clark said. He relaxed. "Can we go home now? I need some sleep."
